About the Role:


The position of the Brigade Administrative Support Officer is to provide customer service and administrative support to its assigned Brigade, its volunteers and the community.

Specifically, your day to day operations will include but not be limited to the following

  • Administrative support to both the Brigade Management team and volunteers. Previous experience in word processing, records management and basic accounting will be important
  • Volunteer Support with direction from the Brigade management team you will Identify, develop and deliver fundraising activities. Additionally, assisting with duties associated with the recruitment and retention of volunteer members of the brigade
  • Act as a Community Liaison, assisting with the organisation of brigade / CFA community campaigns and special information campaigns. Managing correspondence, also arranging activities and meetings.

About You:


  • Experience and understanding of working within a volunteer environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern administrative and information management.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate capacity to work with limited supervision and delivery within required time frames.
  • Experience or qualifications relevant to meeting the requirements of this position are essential
