The Opportunity:


Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager your focus will be to help oversee the daily running of facilities management services for a critical facility, managing and coordinating contractors with respect to rectifications and assisting in the introduction of a new CMMS system.

This is a new opportunity for a keen, switched-on, compliance-driven individual seeking to take on a new challenge in a newly built facility.


In this role, you'll take the lead in:

  • Work through rectification of defects Help get a new facility up on track and defect-free.
  • Drive and develop Asset Management and CMMS systems to ensure all reactive and preventative maintenance is on track.
  • Be a key contributor to change. Assist in the implementation of a brandnew CMSS system.
  • Maintain and support critical operations and backup systems to ensure mínimal system down time.
  • Managing and tracking alerts of BMS and EMS (Environmental Management Systems) for any reactive and preventative maintenance requirements.
  • Be the expert on compliance and quality assurance Ensure all documentation is completed and tracked.
  • Assisting with integrating the Risk and Quality Management framework into the work environment.

Your Skills and Experience:

This opportunity will suit a technically oriented Facilities Coordinator or equivalent who has had exposure to managing critical facilities.

Your experience in critical infrastructure or back-up systems will be highly regarded, experience running defects rectification programs along with a strong attention to detail to adhere to compliance and quality processes.

It is an autonomous opening but with support from an experienced manager, on a state-of-the-art facility.


Your key skillsets will include:


  • Proven engineering and technical knowledge around HVAC, UPS systems, BMS and EMS systems.
  • Exposure to asset management principals and systems, with prior knowledge of CMMS's, particularly if exposed to implementation of new systems.
  • Project management and scheduling skillsets to manage rectifications and minor works.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders, as well as coordinate and manage contractors.
  • A track record in quality management systems, processes, process improvement, and change management.
