They aim to provide landlords, tenants, and operators sound advice concerning a property's lifecycle from conception to disposal through operation and refurbishment. The Opportunity:

With a suite of repeat clients and growth of new business sectors, they are currently looking to grow their Victorian team.

The Technical Consultant - Building Structure & Fabric will be involved in the following:

Undertaking visual assessments of properties with the provision of professional reporting
Technical due diligence reporting
Make good assessment
Building condition assessment reporting
Building pathology and defect reporting, including scoping of remedial repairs
Schedules of condition (prelease reporting)
Dilapidation reports
Lifecycle reporting, including CAPEX forecasts
Asset Register development

Your Skillsets:Your technical appreciation and in-depth knowledge of the workings of a building and how to optimise its performance will be regarded.

You will demonstrate the following:

Sound building construction and fabric knowledge, ideally gained from working in a consultancy environment
Appreciation of the criticality of an assets' impact on the operation of a property
Interest in working across a diverse sector from commercial assets to hospitals to schools
Confidence in utilising technology and appreciation of how technology interfaces with a building to improve performance
Ability to develop written reports incorporating technical information
Deadline and project outcome focused
