The role:

As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist for Projects, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisations renewable energy transition being responsible for:

• Understanding the short and medium-term needs of the business
• Developing and executing fit-for-purpose procurement strategies
• Preparing and managing tenders through to contract execution
• Analysing the multi-year thermal project portfolio and identifying opportunities for aggregation
• Providing input into contracting strategies relevant to 'greenfield' construction of energy/utility assets
• Working collaboratively with a multi-discipline team

The successful candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Procurement Sourcing Specialist role brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in procurement and contract sourcing within a utility or construction environment based on:

• Degree in business or technical area or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years' procurement/contract sourcing experience in a utility or construction environment
• Experience with public sector procurement methodologies
• Excellent written and oral communication ability
• High level interpersonal/consultative skills
• Proven ability to achieve in a multi-discipline team environment
