About Your Exciting New Role as a Procurement Sourcing Specialist - Project

Will be 'business facing' to understand the short and medium term needs of the business, and develop and execute fit for purpose procurement strategies.
Preparation and management of tenders through to contract execution. Noting company has a 'public sector' procurement methodology that is aligned to the Queensland Procurement Policy(s).
Analyse the multiyear thermal project portfolio and identify opportunities for aggregation and potentially strategic procurement relevant to longstanding utility assets.
Analyze the market and contribute to contracting strategies for the construction of 'greenfield' utility assets

What you will need to succeed

Degree in business or technical area or equivalent experience

Procurement Sourcing Specialist

Project experience
710 years' procurement / contract sourcing experience in a utility or construction environment. Including public sector procurement experience.
Advanced contract negotiation skills and written and oral communication ability.
High level interpersonal / consultative skills with a strong proven ability to achieve in a multidiscipline team environment.
