    Description

    Bluestone has partnered with an award winning residential builder with a fantastic reputation in the Melbourne Metro & regional markets to recruit a Procurement Manager to the business.

    This is a key senior leadership position within the business reporting directly to the general manager and is a key role in the success of the business.

    The Role

    • Development of purchasing methodologies and processes to improve quality at the company.
    • Research new products and suppliers and present recommendations to directors of the company.
    • Negotiate contracts with new suppliers and products.
    • Set KPI's for suppliers and performance management.
    • Relationship management with existing suppliers.

    About you

    • Excellent leadership, time management & organisational skills
    • Enjoy working in a highly productive and fast paced environment. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
