The Business
We are one of the largest owners, operators and developers of retirement living communities in Australia, with a current portfolio of 75+ villages and over 17,000 residents calling our villages home.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our Retirement Living Business on a full-time, permanent basis.
- Preparing Supplier tenders by collecting relevant Village data and conducting market research on suppliers.
- Strategic review of material village expenditure items and identification of opportunities to provide value through competitive processes
- Create procurement efficiencies by taking a portfolio view of how we do business
- Manage material supplier relationships including regular meetings, KPI reviews and rebates payable where applicable
- Maintain regular contact with the Village Management network and ensure procedures on the Contract Management System (CMS) are regularly updated by the procurement team
- Ensure procurement team manage CMS requests, tasks are completed and that all enquiries from Villages and Suppliers are actioned
- Develop and maintain cooperative professional relationships with villages and suppliers through investigating and resolving material supplier enquiries.
- Prepare periodic reports as required including status of suppliers in CMS and monthly rebate targets.

- Experience with preparation of tenders and contracts
- Having a process-driven approach, with a system-based background
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- A keen interest for a career in strategic procurement and/or Retirement Living space
- Strong Excel and software system skills
