    Description

    Our client, a well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer, is seeking an experienced Mine Production Superintendent to join their team in Western Australia's north-eastern Goldfields region.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications - Mining Engineering;
    • Unrestricted WA Quarry Manager's Certificate;
    • Familiarity with Australian mining regulations;
    • Previous leadership experience in open pit mining;
    • Exposure to contract mining environments and various commodities.

    Position Duties:

    • Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly activities to ensure that plans are effective, compliance is achieved, and costs are minimised;
    • Overview of mining contract performance, assessing monthly claims for queries and issues;
    • Ensure weekly/monthly ore and waste delivery targets are achieved;
    • Conduct, lead and participate in safety investigations, risk assessments, inspections, reviews, and audits;
    • Contribute and maintain the production planning process;
    • Create monthly accrual for primary contractor aligned with daily review of dayworks claims and mining activities;
    • Engage team for technical and operational knowledge to overcome challenges and optimise the process.
