The Company
This is an ASX listed Owner-Operator with a small but growing team.

They have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Production/Processing Superintendent to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of their new processing plant located in the Pilbara.

This is an exciting stage in their project, and this is a full-time permanent opportunity on an 8:6 roster.


The Role
The Production Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of production operations.

This will include overseeing daily production activities, managing a team of operators, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Process Plant Operators to join a great team.


Key Accountabilities

  • Manage all aspects of potash production operations, including daily production activities and plant maintenance.
  • Ensure that production targets are met or exceeded while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Manage a team of operators, providing leadership and direction to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Manage production schedules and budgets, ensuring that targets are achieved within established timeframes and budgets.
  • Conduct effective shift planning and hand over meetings
  • Monitor training and verification of competency of process operators
  • Coordinate with maintenance to ensure that weekly schedules are completed

Key Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of operators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of production processes and technologies, with the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
