About the Role:

Reporting to the Manager Supply Chain Planning, this role is a great opportunity to continue your leadership journey. You will be leading a team of four specialists to manage current and future quality risk.

You will use your analytical, strategic, and engagement skills to solve quality issues before they arise and identify and mitigate future risks, to support a continually growing business.

You will also have strong communication and influencing skills to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.

In this capacity, you will focus on:

Prioritising safety first
Coaching and mentoring team members
Supporting and driving BOS principles within the Product Quality team
Distilling detailed technical information into straightforward and robust solutions/tools/systems to deliver both volume and quality expectations
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engagement and a knowledge of product quality requirements
Ensuring alignment with and compliance to internal standards and relevant external regulatory bodies (ISO or Australian standards, shipping and environmental regulations)
Leading projects to support continuously improving supply chain outcomes and solving complex problems.
Fostering a culture of innovation and looking for innovative opportunities to increase the value PQ team provides.
Delivering improvement projects to improve quality compliance

About You:

To be successful in this role you will be a collaborative Leader with excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

You are team oriented and results focused with a demonstrated track record in mentoring and coaching others to achieve results.

You are incredibly results focused with a demonstrated track record driving and leading change initiatives

In addition, we are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

Ability to analyse and summarise technical information
A 'relationship' leader with the ability to build open and transparent business partnerships with multiple stakeholders
Experience with supply chain or mine planning or quality processes
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and statistical processes
The ability to influence with credibility
The skills and genuine desire to support, mentor and coach your team
The skills and experience to drive shared outcomes in a complex environment
STEM qualification highly regarded though not essential

Location:

You will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - 'City Square'.

You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.
