    Description

    We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in the solar industry, providing installation advice and technical support to solar inverter installers and solar electricians.

    About the Role:

    As a Solar Installation Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing installation advice and technical support to solar inverter installers and electricians. With new regulations requiring all new solar installations to be internet-connected to our network, you will help installers establish communications connectivity as part of the installation process. Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent customer service to ensure a smooth installation process and meet company quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Represent the company professionally and provide solar installers with excellent customer service through various channels, including telephone, email, social media, SMS, and customer portals.

    Diagnose and address incoming support requests/enquiries promptly, striving to provide solutions for installers at the first point of contact.

    Develop and maintain expertise with industry standards for solar connections and familiarize yourself with the installation procedures of major solar inverter manufacturers.

    Collaborate with other teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive positive change throughout the workplace.

    Perform administrative duties such as informing installers of network events and assisting with connections data processing.

    Actively participate in cross-training to handle diverse levels of customer enquiries.

    Technical Knowledge and Experience:

    Proven operational experience within the new energy & renewables industry, including knowledge of the Distribution network – experience working with, for, or as a solar installer favourable.

    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge in either electrical, internet connectivity, or information technology domains.

    Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, responding to challenging operational situations in a fast-changing environment.

    Willingness to learn and become capable on a variety of different IT systems.
