Salary range:
$89,004-$100,984 plus statutory super

If you fit this profile, then you could join the dynamic Business Systems team at the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an exciting and challenging mandate for change.

The ICT Support Specialist role offers an outstanding career opportunity for a professional who is passionate about using their expertise to support VIT in its regulation of Victorian teachers.


In the role, you will support the VIT's Business Systems Team to implement change and improve our cybersecurity posture whilst maintaining a high standard of support to the organisation.

Your input will help to ensure that VIT's cloud systems and hardware are maintained and continually improved to be a capable and high-performing regulator.


About the role

This role will require you to:

  • Support the execution of change plans related to ICT and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Provide desktop and operational support (level 1/2) in person and through the IT Help Desk
  • Support the distribution and management of hardware and equipment
  • Monitor and support the development of cybersecurity processes
  • Contribute to the implementation of VIT's ICT strategic plan
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Business Systems Manager.

About you
As an experienced ICT support technician, you will have a strong background in computer science and network security/cybersecurity.

You will have experience in providing desktop and operational support in a Microsoft and/or Salesforce environment, and in IT asset lifecycle management.
