    Description
    (Commercial Fit out Workplace)

    I am looking to speak with Client Side Project Managers eager to look at new opportunities. I am working with a very well established firm who works across in the Commercial fit out - workplace sector.

    You will be involved in the delivery of capital works projects.

    The Individual

    You will have a Degree in a construction related field (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture) with between 8-12 years proven project/program management experience in the delivery of construction projects in either a consultancy or building firm, they are open to sector specialisation however experience in commercial, retail, residential, industrial, leisure, government or civil would be favorable. The company are looking for someone who is able to deliver work in a timely and organised fashion, has a strong market knowledge and able to think laterally regarding problems and be able to overcome them. Stakeholder management and client facing abilities are key for this role.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Lead and coordinate consultants, contractors, and suppliers to optimize project performance.
    • Implement procurement processes and establish contracts with clients and stakeholders.
    • Organize project reporting structures and communication channels.
    • Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones and objectives.
    • Manage project budgets and forecast expenditures for timely completion within budgetary constraints.
    • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with legal requirements to safeguard client interests.
    • Supervise the construction phase and provide adequate oversight in line with our commitments.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Conduct value engineering and buildability analyses to enhance project outcomes.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, and project management software.
    • Knowledge of legal frameworks related to planning, commercial aspects, and project delivery.
    • Experience in conducting commercial negotiations with various stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with relevant environmental and safety regulations and standards.
    • A degree in a property or construction-related field or equivalent industry experience.
