Junior Project Manager (Logistics & Technical Support)

We are looking for an experienced
Logistics manager for a long-term contract with one of the NSW Government Clients.

• Knowledge and understanding of recognised project management methodologies (e.g.

PRINCE 2)

• Open to being handson and adaptable to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Handson project role with 50% logistics, 50% project/vendor management and some technical components.
• A logistic function that manages the design, production detailing, procurement, assembly, and delivery of a large number of kits.
• Collaboratively develop and implement plans for new kit development and enhancements; identify risks, procurement options, and work with relevant stakeholders to develop strategies to minimise or mitigate these risks
• Plan and manage provisioning of compute devices required for new kit development and enhancements, in collaboration with crossfunctional technical teams and vendors
• Manage and support the planning and delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with business objectives, approved program/project methodologies, policies, guidelines, tools and metrics;

Salary:
$ $800.00 per day


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Australia: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Procurement: 3 years (preferred)
• Purchasing: 3 years (preferred)
