    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Accountant. This role offers system integration, budgeting and forecasting, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be offered a 6-month contract with potential for extension.

    • Attractive salary package: $480 - $520 + super

    What you'll do:

    As a Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of project accounting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing system integration, developing comprehensive budgeting and forecasting models, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. You will also ensure compliance with financial regulations, prepare detailed reports, and identify opportunities for process improvements. This role requires a high level of commitment, enthusiasm, and the ability to work collaboratively.

    • Manage and oversee all aspects of project accounting including system integration
    • Develop comprehensive budgeting and forecasting models to support financial decision-making
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
    • Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial performance

    What you bring:

    The ideal candidate for this Project Accountant position brings proven experience in project accounting or a similar role. You have strong knowledge of system integration processes and excellent skills in budgeting and forecasting. Your ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders effectively sets you apart. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of financial regulations and standards, along with exceptional analytical skills.
