    Description

    Reflex Automotive Engineering operates a busy service centre working along side our engine reconditioning and turbo charger workshops. We require the services of a qualified experienced technician who enjoys working on a variety of makes and models and is able to work as part of our team in the performance of servicing and mechanical repair jobs.

    Job tasks and responsibilities

    Duties include:

    Liaison with the customer service manager and the workshop team in the performance of the following procedures:

    -handbook and general servicing,

    -diagnosis of mechanical problems and implementation of recommended repairs,

    -removal and refitting of cylinder heads, engines and various engine components.

    Skills and experience

    The ideal candidate will:

    -have trade qualifications,

    -be able to work unsupervised,

    -be prepared to assist apprentices if required,

    -demonstrate problem solving skills and experience with diagnostics,

    -hold a current drivers licence,

    -RWC testing and/or air con licences would be an advantage but not essential.

    Must be eligible to work in Australia.
