- Certificate III and Certificate IV qualifications in relevant field and two years of post qualification experience, or at least 3 years relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Experience in Right Hand Conversion would be an advantage.
- Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts.
- Dismantling & removing engine assembles, transmissions, steering mechanisms & other components & checking parts.
- Re-assembly of stripped down vehicles, including steering mechanisms & other components that have been replaced after conversion.
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthy certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.
- The ability to multi-task. Confidence working under pressure. Professionalism & good personal presentation & a strong eye for detail. The ability to work in a team environment. Proactive attitude and excellent work ethic.
