    Job Description & Summary

Our Risk & Controls Assurance team provides our clients with independent trust and confidence in the business processes they operate.

We help our clients gain value across their end-to-end business processes by addressing risks tied to operational and IT risk and control failures.

In addition to traditional risk areas, such as fraud and IT security, our clients are increasingly seeking advice on emerging risks and opportunities - such as robotic process automation and artificial intelligence.

    What will you create?

Our team provides assurance in relation to client activities spanning control readiness, control remediation, and reporting on the robustness of controls to Board Audit Committees and external stakeholders as well as specialist operational risk support for internal and external audit services.

As a Third Party Trust Manager in our Trust and Risk team your impact will be seen by:

Reviewing the design and operation of business processes, systems, procedures and controls to meet financial and regulatory reporting requirements and contractual obligations

Analysis, documentation and testing of internal controls and control environments

Anticipating and identifying current and emerging risks and raising issues with line management

Development of meaningful relationships with all your stakeholders - clients and colleagues alike

Managing large project engagements end-to-end, from planning and budgeting through to final reporting

Reporting to management on the efficiency and effectiveness of their internal controls and contribution to the presentation of observations to the Audit Committee or Board of Directors

Supporting Partners with special project work around new and emerging areas of risk and corresponding controls comfort.

    About you

You have a background in internal controls and are skilled in providing assurance to organisations within the wealth management industry.

You hold an understanding of Australian control reporting standards such as GS007, ASAE 3402, ASAE 3150 or their international equivalents (ISAE 3402, SOC 1, SSAE, AAF etc) as well as technical skills in controls, risk and governance.

Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Trust and Risk team transform how risk is perceived and capitalised on.

You're collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment.

You're a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders.

Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

    Life at PwC

We empower you with the technology, coaching, flexibility and trust needed to make a meaningful difference, while supporting you in bringing your whole self to work each day.

We're committed to building and maintaining a diverse workforce because we know it's only by working together that we can realise the potential of our people, clients and society around us.

We're living this commitment through initiatives including our Reconciliation Action Plan to increase Indigenous employment and employee-led diversity networks promoting cultural, disability, LGBTI and gender equality.

At our core we're a people business, which means you'll be supported not just in your professional development but your personal growth as well.
