    HOPE has been a community service in Western Australia for over a century, providing much needed support to people affected by alcohol and other drugs, mental ill-health, youth justice issues and socioeconomic disadvantage.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Manager to join the Corporate team The position is full time, working Monday to Friday.

    The key purpose of this position is to:

    • Deliver quality operational leadership, management and support for information and communications technology (ICT), practices and function across Hope.
    • Provide high-level advice to the Chief Financial Officer, CEO and Executive in relation to ICT resource planning, management and reporting.
    • Ensure Client and Stakeholder Management requirements are achieved.
    • Ensure that stakeholders are educated with respect to ICT processes and frameworks, Enterprise Information and, Architectural compliance requirements.
    • Implement, ICT strategies that ensure Hope will meet or exceed the needs of its stakeholders and, operational and growth targets.
    • Manage ICT projects that align with the operational and strategic plans of Hope.

    Requirements of the Role:

    • Collaborates with senior leadership to support the development of ICT strategies and roadmaps aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
    • Ensures effective cyber security measures protect the HOPE operation people and its assets.
    • Conducting regular system audits.
    • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
    • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system governance, updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
    • Developing, managing, and reporting on IT budget.
    • Providing leadership and direction for IT Team (if required).
    • Running regular checks on network and data security.
    • Self-educate / stay current with relevant technology and direction.
    • Working with People and Culture to develop specific IT training programs and workshops for staff.
    • Manage all aspects of the contract, operation and performance of external service providers.

    About you:

    • Bachelors' degree or hold a tertiary qualification in an information technology/management or related discipline or equivalent extensive experience.
    • Three-years experience in an ICT operational management role.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of tools and online collaboration tools.

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. Master's degree or MBA).
    • Experience in Human Services sector.
    • Project management and change leadership.

    Appointments will be subject to Australian residency/visa, satisfactory National Police check (within 3 months), Working With Children card, Current C or A class driver's license, First Aid Certificate, and suitable work referees.
