Responsible for the management of a mixed-use precinct in Fremantle

We have a rare opportunity for a strong, dynamic leader with excellent knowledge of the property industry to step into a General Manager role on a strategic client account within our Property Management division on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Maternity ContractReporting to the Associate Director, this position will assume the overall responsibility of commercial buildings, retail, management of the onsite team and the contribution to the performance of the client assets.

You will also be responsible for the overall performance of properties, general maintenance, and accuracy of lease/tenant information along with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.


A snapshot of your day;

  • Maintain close liaison with the owner, tenants, and operational personnel to ensure proper control and service delivery on a daytoday basis.
  • Implement orderly lease administration and financial management procedures and overall reporting including accurate accounting.
  • Lead the development of performance strategies to ensure reliability, efficiency and costefficient operational excellence across the portfolio.
  • Full P&L management, CAPEX Budgets, financial analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in monitoring all financial transactions relative to lease and contractual obligations and ensure proper procedures for authorising payments, debt control and detailed reporting.
  • Assist in arranging regular remittances to the owner covering maximum possible surplus funds held.
  • Maintain a current and accurate tenancy schedule including diary of pertinent action dates.
  • Making preliminary recommendations and assist in conducting negotiations on all new lettings, lease renewals and rent reviews as well as any proposed assignments and sublettings.

  • Extensive Retail Property Management experience within a retail environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly and manage client expectations
  • Advanced communication skills and a proactive and professional approach
  • An open driver's licence and Real Estate Licence are required for this role.
