Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Community Dietitian in Sydney for a 3-6-month contract.

*** INTERVIEWS START IMMEDIATELY

This position is perfect for someone looking to have a working flexibility as you get to choose your own hours/days worked with a view to go permanent down the track if desired.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing dietetic advice and education to a variety of clients in the community. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously.

In this role you will:

Assessments of nutrition and dietary requirements for clients with a wide range of disabilities and impairments.
Supporting dietary requirements for persons with difficulty swallowing and chewing, bowel and intestinal issues and complex co-morbidities.
Development of individual, evidence-based treatment plans and goals to address any deficits identified in these areas ensuring best practice and the client's individual person-centered plan.
Provide face to face and occasional tele-support to clients in community settings of their choice, in their own home, group homes, day programs

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a community setting
• A bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics
Current registration with the DAA
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
Current drivers' licence and own vehicle.
Competitive Hourly Rate with Full Travel Allowance on offer.
