About the role:


It's an exciting time to join Hyatt Regency Sydney, Australia's largest upscale hotel to deliver inspiring and engaging campaigns in Australia and beyond.

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will strategically work with the Director of Marketing Communications to support the visibility, talk-ability and share-ability of the hotel and its award-winning bars and restaurants.

We are looking for someone who will bring an innovative and creative approach to marketing this property and its varied offerings.


Main Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation of the hotel's Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics, and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenuegenerating departments and reinforce the premium positioning of the hotel in the marketplace.
  • Ensures that Marketing Communications activities are in line with the Corporate Marketing Strategy, and Hyatt's global brand standards.
  • Assists with copywriting and creation of creative and engaging content to be used across internal, earned, and owned channels including collateral, social media, thirdparty websites, press, etc. Includes the coordination of photoshoots.
  • Implements and presents new initiatives for paid, content and collaborative campaigns across travel and food and beverage media, partnerships and influencers.
  • Cultivates relationships with and hosts media and influencers to support hotel and bar and restaurant offerings.
  • Develops social media content calendars and be responsible for "live" post, any stories and reposts and identify User Generated Content opportunities.
  • Actively manages the hotel's website and social media channels and ensures owned and thirdparty channels are up to date and inbound queries are responded to in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven work experience in a similar role with a large, multinational company
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving, writing, and public/media relations skills
  • Able to work in fastpaced and varied environment, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hotel experience will be looked favourably upon, but not essential
  • Full Australian Working Rights
