Description

We are currently seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to join the team at a commercial fit-out and refurbishment company, where every team member is valued like family, both in the traditional sense and in the supportive work culture.

This role involves working on high-end commercial, office, and healthcare projects and is ideal for a junior to mid-level Contract Administrator seeking to join a dynamic team with a strong project pipeline.

As a Junior Contract Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Managing construction and fit-out projects of varying complexity.
Work closely with clients and support staff to develop cost-effective plans while upholding high-quality standards.
Providing support to your team, site manager, and project managers.
Handling requests for information (RFIs), progress claims, variations, and approving subcontractor invoices.
Overseeing projects from procurement to completion.
Reviewing and managing project timelines.
Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
Balancing office-based work with regular site visits.

We're Seeking Someone With:

Relevant tertiary education in contract administration or construction.
Previous experience in fit-out projects, preferably with a commercial fit-out builder.
Experience working across various sectors such as commercial workspace, healthcare, education, and government (including fit-outs, amenities refurbishment, lobbies, etc).
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, project managers, architects, and engineers.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information:

You'll be part of a construction company specializing in high-end commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Salary range: $80k - $130k + super (depending on experience).
Full-time, permanent position located in central Sydney.
