    Estimator (Leading a team) - Fitout and Refurbishment

    The Company

    Our client is a leading D&C Fitout & Refurbishment firm in Sydney, specializing in fast-track interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. The directors have a hands-on approach which accompanies a very strong reputation cross the market. Boutique in nature they are able to offer tailored service to their clients, have a dedicated team of sub-contractors and suppliers and a professional and agile culture. As much as 80% of their business comes through recommendations and referrals.

    The Position

    As the lead Estimator in the team, you will providing strategic input into the service delivery for all tender responses. Analyse commercial aspects and risk of tenders, proposals and contracts and liaise with the sales management on possible risks. Prepare and issue tenders to suppliers/subcontractors and negotiate details to establish the most competitive pricing possible for bid submissions. Ensure tender pricing schedules are accurately completed and professionally presented in time to meet the tender closing date and internal approval requirements. Develop pricing for contract variations, extensions and participate in pricing reviews.

    Requirements

    • D&C Fitout experience as a Estimator in Australia (5 + years)
    • Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering or Similar
    • Clear and Confident Communicator
    • Strong Acumen for numbers
