We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the dynamic team of Melbourne's leading supplier in insulation and thermal solutions. A company who specializes in providing top-quality insulation services to builders, developers, and homeowners throughout Melbourne and Victoria. Their expertise spans home and commercial projects, with a focus on wall, ceiling, underfloor, and acoustic insulation, as well as wall wrapping.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for insulation projects.
2. Utilize the PlanSwift Estimator tool effectively for precise and efficient calculations.
3. Understand and apply building codes and standards relevant to insulation.
4. Select appropriate insulation materials and methods for each project, considering factors like thermal performance, moisture control, and fire resistance.
5. Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information and negotiate the best pricing.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest insulation technologies and trends.
7. Prepare and present reports detailing the cost breakdown, including materials, labor, and time estimates.
8. Work closely with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project objectives and timelines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator with a preference for candidates experienced in using PlanSwift Estimator tool.
• Knowledge of various insulation materials and their applications.
• Skilled in estimation software, particularly PlanSwift.
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for mathematics.
• Capability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
