Do you have experience developing and delivering programs for young people?


Darebin Youth Services is current recruiting for a part time 12-month fixed term Program Development Officer based at The Hub Youth Centre located at the Northland Shopping Centre.


The key function of the role includes actively engaging young people to support their participation in a range of programs and events that enhances their education and employment, health and wellbeing and community participation opportunities.

About the Role

The Program Development Officer is based within the Youth Programs team at Darebin Youth Services and is located from The Hub Youth Centre at Northland Shopping Centre.


You will use your skill and experience to build connections and trust with young people how access the services through planning and delivering a range of youth programs, activities and events.


  • Plan and deliver a range of youth programs, activities and evernts that engage and connect with young people in Darebin.
  • Provide specific support and referrals to young people via local partners and service supports.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, Community Development, Teaching/ Education or Social work
  • Experience working with young people in a community of local government setting.
  • Relevant experience in local government, youth and or community services
  • A current employee Working with Children Card
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid Level and CPR
