    Description

    Our client is an established business based in Brisbane, QLD. They are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Audit Manager to join their growing team.

    This will be a leadership position with a strategic and people leadership focus, with some hands on work at times. The core focus will be, Financial Statement Audits (Technology focused) leading the ITGC Testing, Access Management and Application Reviews etc. Recent or past experience in External IT Audit within a Chartered Firm is required to be considered.

    Note - This opportunity is not open to Visa holders.

    Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Ensure you and your team completes IT audits on-time per client engagements.
    • Lead control testing and risk assessments and control walkthroughs.
    • Main audits in ITGC / Application Reviews / User Access Management etc.
    • Participating in auditing/reviewing all work up to closing client meetings.
    • Maintaining and building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Managing and coaching IT Auditors on various engagements.


    The ideal candidate will be:

    • No less than 5-7 years' experience gained from Big 4 / Chartered or industry.
    • MUST HAVE External IT Audit experience - current or in the past.
    • CISA certified (completed or part or future studies).
    • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Have a "can do" attitude and keen on adding value.
