    The Role

    An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Grade 3/4 Instrument Technician to join the team at Northern Health, Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD)

    This role requires experienced, goal achiever and a team player who has flexibility to work across both The Northern Hospital (TNH) and Broadmeadows Hospital (BH) in a rotating roster.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Experience of 1-2 years as Grade 3 in a Tertiary Hospital or equivalent
    • Experience of 3-4 years as Grade 4 in a Tertiary Hospital or equivalent
    • Good working knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 & NSQHS Standards
    • Proven ability to prioritise work load and needs of consumers in a busy Central Sterilisation Services Department
    • Competence in reprocessing Endoscopes
    • Knowledge on loan sets processes and Theatre List Set-ups
