State Government Agency to engage an Science Communicator, Web Content.
***This position is located in their busy Parramatta office for an initial

contract until 30 June 2023.

Duties

Develop, deliver and manage the creation of web content.

- complex science clearly and is suitable for varied audiences, stakeholders and platforms.

Synthesise and articulate technical information in plain English, provide editorial input, and facilitate communication to ensure messaging is consistent with business requirements.
Manage suppliers who are delivering content, ensure it is delivered on time, to a high editorial standard.
Liaise with the web team to deliver copy, images and video content ready for publication.
Develop an annual schedule of blog and web content and write or commission content ready for publication.
Use Google analytics to understand trends and engagement with content.

Requirements/Skills

You are a strong communicator. Strong writing aptitude, attention to detail and a strategic communications mindset will be essential for success.
You are tech savvy. You have a strong background in digital content and publishing, including writing for the web. You'll work with a variety of CMSs as well as support tools. You are comfortable in evaluating digital platforms and content with an understanding of SEO, content marketing and analytics and implement improvements based on that evaluation.
Technical knowledge and expertise of CMS systems
Sitecore
Experience in creating and managing web presences
Information architecture, accessibility, user experience
Web content writing skills
SEO skills
Experience using Google Analytics
