It's a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as an Associate Director with Liquidity, Analytics and Modelling within our Group Treasury team.


As part of the Liquidity Analytics & Modelling team you are responsible for modelling, analytics, process improvements to deliver liquidity risk reporting, analytical and modelling services to Group Treasury.

This core function supports liquidity risk management, balance sheet management, and funding decisions that drive resilience against liquidity stresses and enables customers to trust banking with NAB.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Modelling of balance sheets for liquidity purposes.
  • Maintain and uplift current Excel/Macro based models.
  • Assist with the implementation, development, and centralisation of new systems.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of reengineered systems and processes, ensure all audit/control requirements are met.
  • Interrogation of database for insight and modelling purposes.

What you will bring:


  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Understanding and adhering to risk management policies, frameworks and standard operating procedures whilst driving change.
  • Analytical and problemsolving ability to infer root cause, mitigate consequences, implement fixes, and predict results.
  • Understanding and adhering to risk management policies, frameworks and standard operating procedures whilst driving change.
  • Support complex changes with clear, comprehensive, and concise written and verbal business requirements.


  • Degree qualified

  • Finance, Risk, Treasury or Technology related.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically only where it makes sense.


  • System knowledge

  • Oracle, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerQuery, PowerPivot, VBA experience essential.
