About Our Client

Our client is a top educational facility in Melbourne, based in Footscray. They lead the way in higher education across the world, setting standards for innovative research.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

Assisting in the planning and prioritisation of the daily activities of the Accounts Payable team
Provide support to internal stakeholders, assisting with AP related queries
Perform compliance reviews on payment files and claims to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Process data in various Finance systems to meet deadlines of the various payment runs
Generate EFT payments and check that they match supporting documentation
Ensure the timely payment of accounts
Ensure payment financial records are retained effectively and in accordance with standards.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who is able to commence work immediately, and to provide value to Accounts Payable team. Key competencies listed below;

System knowledge in Technology 1
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to customer service skills.
Relevant end-to-end Accounts Payable experience.
A can-do attitude, applying drive and motivation to the role.
