    Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team. As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with disabilities to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and access the supports and services they need to lead fulfilling lives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with NDIS participants and their families to understand their goals, needs, and preferences.
    • Assist participants in developing and implementing their NDIS plans, ensuring they have access to the appropriate supports and services.
    • Provide information, guidance, and advocacy to help participants make informed decisions about their NDIS plans.
    • Liaise with service providers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of NDIS-funded supports.
    • Monitor participants' progress and review their NDIS plans as needed to ensure they continue to meet their evolving needs.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NDIS guidelines and organizational policies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in social work, disability studies, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Previous experience working in disability services or a similar role, preferably within the NDIS framework.
    • Strong understanding of the NDIS legislation, policies, and procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals.
