About the role:

Reporting to the National HR Manager for Wire you will act as a trusted partner to the business providing day-to-day HR support, guidance, and expertise in a range of areas such as employee issue management, performance management, succession and planning, remuneration, and change management

You will also:

Provide guidance, support, and resolution strategies on all disciplinary, employment relationship, and industrial relationship issues
Have involvement in EBA meetings and negotiations with unions
Provide advice and support to management and employees
Plan and manage the Talent Pipeline Program involving Graduates, Trades, and Scholarships
Work on talent management, learning & development, and ad hoc HR projects.

About your experience:

To be successful in this role you will have a high level of emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and engage with individuals across all levels.

You will thrive in a changing environment where no two days are the same and as such be flexible and resilient in managing priorities.

You will also have:

A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or an associated discipline
Experience in a similar level influencing role (however Grads still welcome to apply)
Manufacturing or similar heavy industry exposure would be advantageous
Demonstrated experience working with ER and IR issues, including working with EBA
Robust knowledge and working experience with Australian employment law
Proven HR experience in a unionised environment
Training and development experience.
