About the role:

We are seeking Apprentices to join our teams with a start date of early 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain trade skills and exposure to one of Australia's most unique steel making facilities, with over 100 years of continuous history here in Rooty Hill.

Begin your career with us at InfraBuild Steel and help to continue this vital history.

Trade apprenticeships available:

Mechanical (Fitter)

Our apprentices tell us that it's the balance between working and studying that will really give you the edge.

When you're not at TAFE learning the technicalities of your trade, you'll be onsite putting what you've learnt into practice with heavy machinery and equipment.

You'll be challenged, but you'll find it's the best way to develop and learn.

At the end of your apprenticeship, you'll be a fully qualified tradesperson and if you have the desire, you can progress into other opportunities like supervision or further post-trade study.

About your experience:

To be considered for this program, the below criteria is essential;

Successfully completed Year 11 or higher
A demonstrated interest in undertaking an apprenticeship
The energy and motivation to undertake 4 years of study and technical training
A strong commitment to working safely and confidence to seek clarification
The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
