An excellent opportunity exists for a change agent to join the new team of the Family Carer-led Centre Southeast.

As part of this important new initiative, you will utilize your organizational and relationship building skills to assist the Manager to engage with relevant stakeholders and communities across the catchment.

You will establish and maintain networks with Local Governments, Community Organizations, and programs, as well as engage with Carer networks and facilitate information sessions.

Your work will contribute to the co-design and lived/living experience focus of the program.


Ideally, you will possess:


  • A professional qualification in Health, social sciences, or community development.
  • Experience in Lived family or Carer experience, community, and stakeholder engagement, facilitating information and education sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders and communities, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, think creatively.
  • Excellent knowledge of systems and community networks and the way they interact and overlap with each other.
  • A clear understanding of how to scope and build relationships with carers and their relevant networks, local government, community organizations to strengthen understanding of the supports Carers need to enhance their wellbeing.
