We are currently looking for a
Finance Officer to join our Operational Finance team.

Location wise, this role can be based out of any of our John Holland head office locations (e.g., Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth).

As a key member of John Holland's Shared Service Team, you will manage a range of support services and processing functions in a Finance Operations environment on behalf of the business.

About the Role:

Manage accounts receivable receipting functions, ensuring receipts are entered in a timely manner
Manage central accounts receivable inbox
Working closely with stakeholders to proactively follow up unallocated receipts
Manage Accounts Payable processing on behalf of lease contracts
Manage Trust Accounts implementing and adhering to our policies, procedures and internal controls
Manage monthend processes and GL reconciliations
Work closely with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues as they arise
Prepare and manage other statutory/financial reporting initiatives
Provide support as required for the ongoing development of process initiatives across the function
Drive continuous improvement of processes.
Deliver efficient, accurate, timely system administration services as per agreed KPIs and SLAs

About You:

This position will require you to hold (or be working towards holding) an Accounting degree or similar tertiary qualification in a related discipline, as well as ideally having demonstrated proficiency in Workday Finance Fundamentals.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, completing bank reconciliations and accounts receivable within a high volume, dynamic environment.

Your demonstrated ability to produce a high volume of work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with your ability to multi task within tight timeframes, will see you succeed in the role.

As will your strong verbal and communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all different levels of the business.
