About the role:


Reporting to the Manager, Budgeting and Reporting, the role of the Finance Business Partner at DIIS is to provide support to Senior Finance Business Parners and across the business.


The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the preparation of monthly journals, budget cash flows and accurate financial reports for officers within the team.

The role is also responsible for managing access, system administration and providing appropriate staff support in relation to purchase cards, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

The role also requires excellent time management and communication skills, with a strong eye for detail.


Key Selection Criteria:


  • Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable related functions, including reporting, system administration and debtor management.
  • Experience in preparing monthly journals and reconciliations to ensure the general ledger correctly, reflects expenditure, revenue and balance sheet transactions.
  • Experience in undertaking financial analysis and presentation of information.
  • Experience with working in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service, showing initiative and working under limited direction.

Remuneration:

Competitive salary (ASO4 $ 74,315 to $ 77,901 pa) plus superannuation

Essential:
Nil


Desirable:
Relevant degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent.


Special Conditions:

The role will be offered on a term contract for a period of 12 months.
