    Senior Project Manager - (AUS0008Z4)

    Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Brisbane office to oversee a significant project located in Turkey, involving the development of a promising gold/copper deposit. This position is based in Brisbane, with frequent travel required to the project site in Turkey.

    About the role

    · Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.

    · Lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to achieve project objectives.

    · Oversee all aspects of project execution, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

    · Monitor project performance metrics and take proactive measures to address any deviations from established targets.

    · Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with safety standards.

    · Manage stakeholder communications and foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.

    · Provide timely progress reports to Senior Management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.

    · Champion a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

    · Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and corporate policies.

    About You

    · A bachelor's degree in, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

    · A proven track record within project management roles within the mining or EPCM industry, with experience in gold and copper deposits preferred.

    · Strong technical background with expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery.

    · Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

    · Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software applications.

    · Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in multicultural environments, preferably within international settings.

    · Familiarity with Turkish regulatory requirements and cultural dynamics is advantageous.

    · PMP or Prince2 certification is desirable.
