    Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, our client has an outstanding opportunity for a Principal Civil Engineering professional based in Melbourne.

    The role requires a wealth of experience in road and infrastructure development, covering designing and project management. This key role involves leading a dynamic team, comprised of skilled engineers, designers, and drafters, based in our Melbourne office, delivering renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Reporting directly to the Directors, and working closely with other Principals, you will play a significant role in team management, project excellence.

    As part of this thriving team of 50+ professionals, you'll contribute to managing high-performing project teams, delivering the best engineering outcomes within project timelines, budgets and most importantly to our client's satisfaction. You will contribute to stakeholder engagement and business growth, while being involved in all aspects of project delivery. Strong communication skills are essential for building client relationships and working effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, with accreditation as CPEng and/or RPEQ.
    • Minimum of 10 years demonstrated civil design and management experience, preferably in roads and infrastructure developments
    • Relevant registrations and professional accreditations.
    • Competency in essential software packages; 12D Model (highly preferred but not essential, a 3D package is essential), PC Drain, AutoCAD, Drains, Vehicle Tracking, MS Office Suites, MUSIC
    • Willingness to occasionally travel for inspections on interstate and New Zealand projects
    • Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Interest in working on a diverse range of projects.

    • Drive and passion to solve problems and deliver innovative solutions.
