Leading name within food manufacturing with multiple Australian sites
Maintenance Manager role across 2 factories, team of 1currently
Highly autonomous and hands on role reporting to the Site Manager

Client Details

A household name in food manufacturing and baking based with a complex National Network of manufacturing sites.

The business is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance activities of the two factories on site.

Description

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for staff on site and both reactive and preventative maintenance activities.

The business runs several lines on site acrposs a new and older factory and has a good level of complex automation.

The role will be highly autonomous and you will be the challenged to both improve OEE whilst moving the site towards a more Preventative maintenance led philosophy.

Your focus will be on coaching, developing (and recruiting a team around you) and guiding the fitter on site and sub contracted trades ensuring best class in terms of process and people.

Your focus will be on Equipment uptime, effectiveness, performance and the Safety of all site engineers.

This role is business critical as the company continues to increase its manufactured tonnage and expects a capital upgrade soon.
