There is an exciting opportunity for Experienced Food Service Assistant to join our brand new service Campbelltown Hospital Site that delivers a high standard of care by using a holistic, family centred, strength-based collaborative approach.

We support families with children from birth to 5 years of age through building parenting capacity, enhancing parent child relationships and strengthening a family's connections with supports in their community.
Our services are evidence based and delivered by a caring and highly trained professional team of child and family health nurses, paediatricians, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists offering complete, holistic care.
We are seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant who will provide a Client focused service delivery, who will be responsible for performing a high standard of quality service to clients in the preparation, safe delivery and presentation of meals including cleaning duties of the dining area.

Campbelltown Hospital Site
STATUS:
Permanent part-time Mondays to Thursdays
32 hours per week
Shifts: 11.30 am to 7.00 pm
CLASSIFICATION:
Hospital Assistant Grade 2
VACCINATION CATEGORY:
A (including full COVID doses and influenza Vaccinations)
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Hotel Services Coordinator through to Corporate Services Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Corporate Services
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA (Each Criteria must be addressed in your cover letter)
- Demonstrated experience in Catering, Food Services and Hotel services.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and independently.
- Physical capability to perform various cleaning, food service, meal support and catering duties
- Willingness to undertake training relevant to job role
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct, Karitane Values, and other professional standards applicable to the position.
- Ability to support HACCP accreditation preparation
- Certified in Food Safety practices
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Various employment status is in accordance with the current Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Health Employees Agreement or one that replaces the current Agreement.
The majority of Karitane services close for approximately two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, during which time employees are required to take leave.

Relevant Police Check, Working with Children Check, Apprehended Violence Orders and prior employment checks, including relevant disciplinary proceedings, will be conducted on recommended applicants
VACCINATIONS
- Category A workers are required to meet and maintain the vaccination criteria (as per the current NSW Health policy directive) including annual influenza vaccinations. At least three doses of a COVID19 vaccine will be required to provide a record of your COVID19 vaccination status if successful. Annual Influenza vaccinations are mandatory.
