Your role


The Training Administration Officer assists the team by providing executive administrative support to Security Operations Group ( SOG ) Training unit.


Range of support services which include:

  • Collect and compile information for and prepare documentation and correspondence
  • Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services
  • Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required
  • Update and maintain records and databases, including SOG training systems
  • Manage accommodation bookings
  • Event coordination which includes onsite educational facilities and support for events of a departmental, public, or private nature to meet the business operational needs
  • Facilitation of administration and recording management systems to support the CSNSW Field Training Officers Program and SOG specialised training courses
  • Oversee coordination of SOG Training meeting organisation, distribution of minutes and agendas
  • Review and submit maintenance requests to SOG Administration Officer

  • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in the use of computers and data entry
  • Must have a handson approach and be willing to assist where and when needed
  • Ability to deliver multiple administrative support activities and services in line with agreed standards, timeframes and milestones
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
