    Ready to make a splash in your career? WaterNSW is seeking Regional Project Manager (Full time) to join our Operations team in Greater Sydney

    In this role, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects, primarily focusing on asset renewals. Your key objective will be to prioritize safety in the delivery of projects while meeting the agreed project goals (scope, cost, time, quality).

    • What you'll do:

  • Project Management: Deliver and manage projects from initiation, planning, execution, and completion to ensure they are delivered safely within time, budget and the agreed scope of work is completed to high quality standards.
  • Contracts & Procurement: Ensure the method of engaging contractors meets the requirements defined within WaterNSW Procurement and Legal Frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure appropriate and relevant internal and external stakeholders are effectively briefed and engaged in a timely manner throughout the entire project lifecycle to enable effective and efficient project delivery.
  • Project Monitoring: Regularly monitor project work against agreed milestones and budgets and adequately supervise site works to ensure safety, environmental and quality aspects meet or exceed requirements.
  • Risk Management and Continuous Improvement: Actively review for risk or opportunities and consider options to improve project outcomes.
  • Reporting: Ensure all reporting requirements including budget tracking and forecasting is completed and accurate, clearly communicating reporting and progress tracking to enable ongoing management of projects and effective portfolio resource management.

    • What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Project Management or demonstrated equivalent experience in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Professional Project Management and Engineering experience in delivery water infrastructure asset-based projects.
  • Knowledge of Prince2 and PMBOK Principles and application.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proven site-based experience managing construction activities and contractors.
  • Commercial acumen to identify benefits and opportunities when developing and executing business cases, project plans and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in negotiating and influencing outcomes including successful management of contractual disputes.
  • Demonstrated background in planning work and deploying resources to deliver business goals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering design principles and can interpret project/engineering documentation such as specifications and drawings.
  • Proficient with MS Suite and MS Project.
  • Willing to travel and work at various sites within NSW.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
