About the Role


The Seniors Living is a newly created division of our business, bringing together the 4 business units: Anglicare At Home, Retirement Living, Housing and Property.

As such, we have created the position of Project Management Officer establish a formal PMO within Seniors Living.


Initially this role will be required to set up an effective PMO by which projects across business units can be initiated, approved, funded etc.

The role will then transition into the delivery of BAU process improvement projects across the Seniors Living portfolio.

Assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of a project office, providing expert support and guidance to Seniors Living Executive, SLT and other key stakeholders.


Some key duties will include:

  • Advising on and supporting the principles for the successful management of projects through the project life cycle
  • Providing support in tracking and reporting progress and performance of one or more projects, producing and maintaining plans, timelines and quality controls
  • Proactively streamlining and automating manual processes and procedures
  • Reporting the progress and anticipated problems to senior management, including profitability, risks and resource planning

About You


We are looking for a talent Project Management professional who can establish a formal PMO structure in an ever-changing environment.

We are looking for someone with experience in creating policies, procedures and governance, with skills in change management.


As this is a standalone position, we also require someone who can work autonomously, who has very strong stakeholder management skills who can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business.


Some other key skills we require include:

  • Action oriented strategic thinking ability
  • Strong customer focus, including an understanding of humancentred design focused on improving the customer experience
  • Agility, initiatives and responsiveness, who can adapt to a changing environment and efficiently manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects
  • Skills with data / financial analytics is desirable
  • Experience within the Aged Care / NFP industry is desirable
