    Description

    Latitude Recruitment is recruiting Social Support Group Assistants on behalf of Rural Northwest Health. In this position you will be responsible for participating in the delivery of group activities, supporting community members to maintain and enhance their physical, social and emotional wellbeing whilst ensuring the successful delivery of a meaningful Social Support Program.

    These are casual positions based at the Warracknabeal, Hopetoun and Beulah campuses.

    To be successful in this position you will have:

    • Certificate lll in Aged Care, Allied Health Assistant or equivalent, or working towards completion
    • Genuine interest in working with older persons, or people with a disability
    • Understanding of person-centered care principles and Aged Care Quality Standards
    • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
    • First aid certificate
    • Driver's licence
    • COVID19 vaccination evidence
    • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
    • Current and valid Police Clearance
    • Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one
