    Description

    System Safety Engineer

    Green Light Worldwide's Delivery Team are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Safety Engineer (
    NV1 Clearance) to join our dynamic team.

    As a System Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our systems and products.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement safety measures to mitigate them.

    Responsibilities


    • Conduct safety assessments and analyses for new and existing systems, identifying potential hazards and risks.
    • Develop and implement safety plans and procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Perform system safety assessments, including fault tree analysis, hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety requirements into system design and development processes.
    • Review and analyse system designs, requirements, and documentation to ensure safety objectives are met.
    • Provide guidance and recommendations to mitigate safety risks throughout the system lifecycle.
    • Conduct safety reviews and audits to verify compliance with safety standards and requirements.
    • Investigate safety incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to system safety.
    Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience as a System Safety Engineer or related role in a relevant industry.
    • Strong knowledge of system safety principles, methodologies, and tools.

    Must have NV1 Clearance

    • Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO178C).
    • Experience conducting safety assessments and analyses, including fault tree analysis, hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
    • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
    • Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and safety excellence.
    • Certification in system safety engineering or related areas is a plus.
