We currently have one permanent fulltime Senior Personnel & Payroll Officer, Level 3 and one permanent fulltime Personnel Payroll Support Officer, Level 1 available for immediate filling.

The Roles

Senior Personnel & Payroll Officer

As a Senior Personnel and Payroll Officer, you will provide quality personnel and payroll support to clients and will be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will also provide accurate and timely personnel and payroll services including end-to-end payroll processing and be able to work in a cohesive team environment.

To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following:

Demonstrated experience in the provision of a Personnel and Payroll service in a complex environment, using a computerised personnel and payroll system.
Demonstrated experience in the processing of Single Touch Payroll (ATO).
Good understanding of Microsoft Office to improve efficiency of processes.

Personnel Payroll Support Officer

Under the direction of the Principal Consultant – Payroll & HR Systems, you will support the administration and ensures the accuracy of day-to-day personnel and payroll processes in a timely manner and provides a quality personnel and payroll service to employees of the PTA.

To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following:

Basic knowledge of payroll functions and processes, including an understanding of industrial awards and agreements.
Sound computer skills and the ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database packages.

Pool

Suitable applicants will be placed in the pool for 12 months from which permanent and fixed term appointments may be made.
