    The Company

    The Opportunity

    As an Electrical Engineer you will play a crucial role in the design of power systems and associated infrastructure for off grid solutions for various project. This includes and providing technical support to project teams.

    The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to work in a collaborative environment and must be comfortable working autonomously. The ideal candidate should have a background in power systems engineering within renewables & power generation.

    • Design Power systems and associated infrastructure
    • Ensuring electrical systems or installations are designed in accordance with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 3000 Electrical Installations "Wiring Rules" and all other applicable regulatory requirements and that they are maintained in a safe working condition
    • Ensuring solar PV systems or installations are designed in accordance with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4509 Stand-Alone Power Systems; AS/NZS 4777 Grid Connection of Energy Systems via Inverters; AS/NZS 5033 Installation and Safety Requirements for PV Arrays and the requirements of the Clean Energy Council
    • Undertake engineering calculations including cable sizing, grading studies, microgrid simulations, PV system modelling, protection studies

    About You

    • 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering preferably in power/renewable energy
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Previous electrical design experience
    • Good communication & collaboration skills
    • Strong problem solving and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
