Description

One of Australia's leading and established wholesalers has an immediate opportunity available for an Accounts Payable professional to join their supportive team based in Blackburn.

This is a temporary position with a potential view for permanency.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Supplier statement reconciliations - using Vlook ups in Excel
Invoice processing - matching invoice to purchase order via 3-way matching
Handling internal and external queries
Eye for detail and ability to make quick decisions / problem solve
Validating of invoices

We are looking for:

Sound skills in Accounts Payable - particularly within high-volume environments and strong supplier reconciliations experience
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Available to commence with limited notice
Ability to commit to a temporary role with the view to permanency
Quick thinker and problem solving ability
Sense of urgency
Good understanding of inventory and 3-way matching
