6 months, possible extension

Hourly rate negotiable

East Perth WA
To provide operational Safety, Health and Wellbeing advice working within a high-risk directorate including:

Assist with Risk Assessments and review and update risk registers.
Safety Incident Consultation and Investigations (review of contractor safety incidents).
Assist with the review of Safety Management and Safety Improvement Plans.
Assist with the review of Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Work Instructions and Job Safety Analysis.
Produce monthly Safety Reporting Dashboards.
Collate the Monthly Safety Indicators (MSI) reports.
Update and maintain the audit schedule for active construction contracts.
Undertake or attend site inspections as required.
Risk Assessing and progressing low level safety incidents in the event reporting system (EQsafe).
Assist with the Directorate Safety Initiatives (Safety Improvement Actions, Meeting Actions, General Improvements, Training, etc).

ESSENTIAL:

***- Sound knowledge of safety systems with proactive approach when dealing with issues.
